3 Inexpensive Ways To Prevent Skin Wrinkles

When it comes to wrinkles, it is far easier to prevent the development of skin wrinkles than it is to remove the ones you already have.  And fortunately these preventive measures are also much less expensive as well.

Tip#1:  Drink Plenty of Water.  Being thoroughly hydrated allows the skin to remain as flexible as possible.  And vice versa.  Being constantly dehyrated causes the skin to be much more rigid.  This results in the greater likelihood of skin wrinkles forming due to the natural effects of aging.  The standard eight glass of 8 ounces of water per day rule ensures that you are properly hydrated and thus reducing the formation of new wrinkles.

Tip #2:  Stay Out Of The Sun.  No, you don’t have to be a vampire who only comes out at night.  But the reality is that the more exposure you have to the sun, the more wrinkes you will get.  Although some sun exposure is ok (and necessary as in the case of the body’s need for sunlight to help it ultilize vitamin D), getting too much sun will greatly increase the rate that your skin ages.  Using long sleeve shirts and pants to cover up additional skin can be beneficial in the reduction of new wrinkle formation.

Tip #3:  Use Sun Block.  If you do have to be out in the sun for an extended period of time, be sure to use plenty of sun block.  Make sure that it’s at least 45 SPF (even higher for more protection).  Sun block contains chemicals that help protect the skin from the harmful ultra violet light coming from the sun.  Be sure to apply healthy amounts of sun block to all exposes skin, including the lips, nose, ears and other places that normally get forgotten whn applying sun block.  The rule is simple: if the skin is exposes to the sun, then it needs sun block.

”An ounce of maintenance saves a pound of repair”.  This adage definitely holds true when it comes to the prevention of new skin wrinkles.  Drinking plenty of water, staying out of the sun, and using sun block are effective and inexpensive ways to minimize the formation of new wrinkles.
